Old Oak - Variations

Here are a few versions on a old oak tree from Talking Waters Garden in Albany, OR. They were shot using the iPod Touch 5G, and edited with various apps on the iPad. It is pretty amazing what you can do with the photo apps available for the phones and tablets. The biggest issue is the resolution if you are planing on producing prints or books. That will change I am sure over time. There are a few camera apps that will give you Tiff files that are 8x10 at 300ppi.

SECOND WIND

I have been exploring the iPod Touch and various apps, but still not sure what I think will work for me. These images are are done with my old standby setup of digital pinhole shots combined in PhotoShop layers. I may continue to shoot with my M43 camera to retain the image quality, but do the editing on the iPad for the apps. The last image was shot with the M43 camera pinhole combination, asembled in PS, and the transfered to the iPad for texture. I just have to sort things out and that will take time. Enjoy - Kurt
