Some new images from this week shot in my back yard. I am always amazed by how common things can be transformed through the photographic process. This holds true for the "straight" images I shoot as well as for the more "experimental" images produced with Lensbaby or pinhole.

This is one of the images from last week using my Olympus E-P2 and Lensbaby+plastic optic. Also include are some pinhole images I created a number of years ago using the same concept. This involves going to a natural location, performing a ritual, and recording it with my camera. I have been doing this series off and on for some time, and have been thinking about starting up again. K

Here are two images from a recent walk along the Willamette River. The river is about four blocks from our house and is always available even when I don't have the time to go farther afield. It is interesting how you can run across something that you have seen  lots of times and that day it becomes magical. K
